Why should electronic communications be any different than physical (pen & paper) ones? In case of death, my designated heirs would inherit my "papers" - and I would expect that in this digital age that term would include electronic papers as well as rag bond.
The dead cannot have any "rights" - that's an oxymoron.
Where do you draw the line between family rights and the privacy of the deceased?
