AT&T Considers Mac OS X, Linux For 7,000 Desktops

It probably will never happen, as I'm sure Redmond would literally give away the latest and greatest Windows system to prevent it, but what a coup it would be for Apple or Linux to land this one.

AT&T is reconsidering its corporate IT investment in Microsoft Windows - with both Mac OS X and Linux being considered.
