Brown lawn means jail time

It's hard to feel too sorry for Gramps here, because he knew about the restrictions when he bought the place. On the other hand, I've contended for a while now that these kinds of restrictions are null and void - you either own the property or you don't. In this case, it's pretty obvious to me who owns the property, and it ain't Grandpa, even though he paid for it.

On Friday morning, Joseph Prudente put on a pair of shorts and his "Grandpa Gone Wild" T-shirt. He took off his wedding band and put his heart medication in a plastic Wal-Mart bag. Then his daughter drove him to jail. Grandpa had time to do. His crime? He had disobeyed a court order that he sod the lawn at his Beacon Woods home. His bail? Zero.
