Food as 21st Century Tobacco

Here's a disturbing bit: Is food, with all its virtues and vices, on its way to becoming the tobacco of the 21st century?

I sure hope not .... I mean, even I can live without tobacco, but we'd have a pretty tough time getting on without chow. As if any of that mattered to the money grubbing lawyers and blue-nosed busybodies.
