Art Teacher Loses Job After Kids See Nude Sculpture

An award-winning Texas art teacher who was reprimanded after one of her fifth-grade students saw a nude sculpture during a trip to a museum has lost her job.

From history and personal experience, I learned that I have to consciously challenge injustice, else I unwittingly enable worse. At least a few years back (maybe as much as five), Playboy had an article that described people dressing nude statues -- before the Ashcroft curtains for Justice episode. Politicians capitalized on what they saw out there and now being the prudish or uber religious establishment is "in." Now schools are picking up on that. Power trips. Moral minority majority power trips. I doubt it's **all** done out of fear of the few prudes.
