Kentucky Student Charged with Felony Thoughtcrime

Ah, the joys of "zero-tolerance"! It's apparently netting fiction writers as well as pocket knife wielding honor students. I wonder if Stephen King could graduate from high school in this new millennium without at least one felony charge on his juvenile record?

A fictional short story leads to a felony terrorism charge for an 18-year-old high school student... William Poole, an 18-year-old junior at George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester, Kentucky has been arrested and charged with a felony of making terrorist threats. The "terrorist threats" charge apparently stems from a short story Poole wrote...
