First Post
Well, I suppose that one starts a blog like one starts anything else - although rather than a single step I'll make a single post.

This is the kind of thing I've been waiting for for a while. I never really "grokked" the whole blogging thing until a week or so ago - call it my own, personal apostrophe - but I finally figured out that this was the place for all the snippets I crib on the laptop before I go to bed, all the little random tidbits that I seem to collect.

Tye spelling is going to be off for a while - I'm terrible at it, and until I can figure out some of the other tools available to auto post, I'll either have to stick to Word and cut'n'paste or take my chances with Radio's built in tools. I can't get IE to run quite right with it yet, but I'll get there. I can assure you this - IE will never be my default browser.

It being 2:25 am, I think I'll head upstairs and relax in the library for a bit. Then crash. It's been a long day, but hey - I did get one post up here.... more to follow.

Notes: If you put a <mailto:> link in the URL field your address will not be mangled: this could be a bad idea as your email address could be easily harvested by bots designed for SPAM. The comments field should now format correctly for line feeds and carriage returns: when you hit the 'Enter' or 'Return' keys in your comment it should break to a new line. The text should wrap cleanly. Please let me know if it doesn't. No HTML tags will pass through - entering links seems to be the main cause of comment SPAM. Also, please be sure that Javascript is enabled in your browser before attempting to post a writeback. Sorry for any inconvenience, but this really helps cut down on the amount of comment SPAM I have to deal with.
