Finally Winter

Well, the air temperature has been below freezing since late last Sunday evening, and promises to stay that way for at least another week. We even had a wee dusting of snow the other morning! And I am no longer sinking in the muck walking out to the hen house! What a relief - winter has finally arrived. And I, for one, hope it sticks around for a while. Like, say, until the middle or the end of March.
