The man became more than a "star" - he was a cultural icon, the subject of pop songs. He was a piece of America in Paris. He was the Don of Hollywood. R.I.P.

Actor Marlon Brando, made famous by his roles in On the Waterfront and The Godfather, dies aged 80.
