Outbreak exposes weakness in food chain

Bullshit! We know exactly what causes these outbreaks, and exactly how to prevent them. But we won't, because we're told it would raise the cost of production to do it right.

But what about the added cost of additional inspections, regulations and other measures these folks are pushing for? How much will that add to the cost?

Somebody needs to take Occam's Razor to "agribusiness", and cut it back to down to size. Maybe we could call it "farming" again...
