Organic farms 'best for wildlife'

Ye gads! A 'Study in Stupidity' involving agriculture!

So, the conclusions are thus: if you "farm" a piece of land by paving it over, and erect huge factories barns to stuff the livestock in, or if you soak the soil with pesticides and herbicides to "improve" fertility, you'll get less wildlife on your property than you would've if you'd have just left it alone and farmed naturally.

I wonder how many millions of pounds sterling it cost them to figure this one out?

Organic farms are better for wildlife than those run conventionally, according to a study covering 180 farms.
