Gosh, this didn't make the front page "bailout news", now did it? Yet that's exactly what it is: a government gimme sending tax dollars to private companies (or in this case, a foreign government).
If that's not "redistribution of the wealth" I don't know what is. But I'll betcha there will be no protests by Chambers of Commerce over this deal.

Ya know, the Big Three from Detroit sure have been taking a beating in the media for having "tin ears" - they came to Congress hat and hand begging for bailouts via corporate jet.
And AIG, already the recipient of Federal largess, has been excoriated in the press for their recent junkets. Even the President was outraged.
