SC priest: No communion for Obama supporters

You know, no where in the Constitution is it mentioned that churches and other religious organizations must be tax exempt. That exemption is part of a political deal - in return for staying out of politics and sticking to religion, churches get the break.

Perhaps it's time to revisit the Roman Catholic Church's non-profit, non-political designation.

AP - A South Carolina Roman Catholic priest has told his parishioners that they should refrain from receiving Holy Communion if they voted for Barack Obama because the Democratic president-elect supports abortion, and supporting him "constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil."
