It Never Seems to Stop Around Here

People aren't the only ones in the family that get health problems: Willie has been diagnosed with eosinophilic masticatory myositis (more info). It came up pretty suddenly, within the last week.Looks terribly painful - he's on prednisone, which seems to be the new aspirin for humans and animals (Mom's been on it, too, for various complaints).

With any luck at all, he'll get over it. From what I've read, we seem to have caught it early enough - if there's not been any severe muscle damage. Time will tell.
