Full fat milk makes you thinner

I've been hip to this for quite a while now, as have a lot of other folks. Natural is better - more processing means more junk, and it's junk that leads to obesity, not fat.

Full fat dairy products are more likely to keep you slim than comparable low fat foods. That's the apparently topsy-turvy conclusion of a new Swedish study, which shows that the fat encourages calcium uptake.

OK, who's got all the teaspoons?

Who knew teaspoons had a half-life? I strongly suspect this phenomena to be related to the reports of "Dryer Black Holes", wherein one of each pair of socks will eventually disappear, or possibly to the incidence of households running out of paper towels, toilet paper and tissues at the same time ...

Possibly one of the most talked about pieces of research published in the British Medical Journal has surprisingly little to do with medicine… or science… or anything of any particular importance. Entitled "The Case of the Disappearing Teaspoons", the study proves that this is a naturally occurring phenomenon with no apparent explanation.
