What an ultimately cool thing these folks are doing! Against the rising trend of aggressive intellectual property rights and digital rights management, they've turned the tables. Now let's hope they can turn the tide....

By the end of this year, the contents of all 1,800 courses taught at one of the world's most prestigious universities will be available online to anyone in the world, anywhere in the world. Learners won't have to register for the classes, and everyone is accepted.

Legal Predictions for 2007

A home run: in my not so humble but nonetheless considered opinion, contract law and privacy are the two core issues we're facing domestically. And how we resolve them is going to have a much larger (and longer lasting) impact on our society than most folks realize or care to think about.
