Kinda light punishment for this kind of blatant theft of taxpayer dollars, eh? Why do I call it theft? Because athletic scholarships are really just welfare for the well muscled... and I suppose it keeps the whole modern "bread and circuses" machine well oiled.
The offending teachers keep their positions on the faculty due to tenure, they just lose their departmental positions. And the kids? Well, they'll graduate with degrees showing these inflated grades, no doubt.
Hopefully, they'll do well in professional athletics. Unlike another former student athlete: Maurice Clarett.
