Off to the Show

I'll be leaving in about an hour to head to Ohio - Odin Lives Radio (for which I serve as webmaster) is sponsoring a concert tonight by Aly Bain & Ale Möller in Bellefountaine. It oughta be a good time - if you're in the area, stop by the Holland Theater at 7:30 pm and check it out!

Why today is the perfect day to change the rest of your life

Hmmm... what could I start today?

Today could the perfect day to turn over a new leaf, acquire a new skill and step forward to a bright new future. Apparently, May 18 is the ideal time of year to make that New Year resolution you would not have kept if you had made it on January 1.

The Beeb Shall Inherit the Earth

An interesting look at the BBC and copyright in the digital age. Whatever one might think of the Beeb as a newsgathering organization, I must say that they do seem to be rather forward looking when it comes to disseminating what information they do gather.

While Hollywood locks down American culture with draconian copyright restrictions, across the pond one of the world's leading broadcasters is embracing the digital future. Blogger and sci-fi author Cory Doctorow sings the praises of the BBC.
