Bad Advertiser Choices

I would put this in 'Humor', but it's really not very funny at all ... I can't ascribe it to deliberate action, either: it's just stupidity on the part of the folks who sell the ads.

Anyway, we're surfin' the tube and run across a "what-if" show called Smallpox. It's sponsored by VISA: whose latest slogan is, of course, displayed across the screen next to the program name.

"It's everywhere you want to be."

I don't think so.

In the beginning . . . Adam walked with dinosaurs

When I first heard of this "Creationist Museum", I hoped it would be a place similar to Madame Tussard's, which would display wax statues of those misguided and deluded religious zealots who literally believe that Genesis is an historical document.

I was disappointed.

With its towering dinosaurs and a model of the Grand Canyon, America's newest tourist attraction might look like the ideal destination for fans of the film Jurassic Park.
