OK, maybe the Pennsylvania Legislature isn't as weird as I thought. The following is from Wired
The Georgia General Assembly has its hands full during its current legislative session. For one, a group of fourth-graders prompted a push to make the green tree frog the official amphibian of Georgia. Rep. Victor Hill wrote 12 pages of rules to crack down on massage parlors that stay open all night. Another bill would make Bengal cats legal in Georgia. And Atlanta Rep. John Noel was so upset that he couldn't get sweet tea at a restaurant that he filed a bill to make it a misdemeanor "of a high and aggravated nature" not to offer sweet tea in any restaurant that serves iced tea. The punishment for such an egregious offense? Up to 12 months in jail.

I missed this last Thursday, but I guess it's better late than never. And besides, this is an interesting and provactive article from CNet.com covering the future of digital content distribution.
